So many young docs getting into this with a dream of an 'all in one' facility where one patient can get ALL the services in one place. Unfortunately, what this usually turns into is, "The patient has good insurance? Cool, we'll give them every service their insurance will cover."
The problem? The economics of business overtake what's best for the patient. And many new grads get into these setting and don't even realize it...until it's too late.

“I’ll let you know when I’m ready,” is a giant red flag of out of control business owners. The benefit of owning a business is that you have control. But when you live in a world of, “when things calm down,” or “after I implement,” you are saying external circumstances dictate how you operate.
Mature business owners understand that life will ALWAYS happen and they will make the decision anyway. They realize they have 100% control of how they feel, how they see the situation, and can make the decisions necessary for their life and business.
