How To Hire Your First Employee (And not lose all your money doing it)
It’s never too early to think about hiring.
If you’re out there working solo in business the thing you need help with is your admin work.
You need someone who can handle bookings, calls, and billing.
When I first started it was my mom.
People make the mistake of jumping ahead and hiring an associate or marketing assistant first.
But if those people do well and you get an influx of leads, who is going to handle the logistical stuff for you?
Then I would hire a marketing assistant.
It doesn’t have to be a corporate person. It could actually be an intern or someone with little marketing experience. (This is what I did and it’s worked out great for me)
When hiring you don’t need to go from 0-100. Mostly because you can’t afford it, and also because it’s not worth it.
Take steps to grow your employees and grow your leadership skills in the process.
