Going From Zero to 7 Figures (IN NETWORK!!!) In Six Years with Dr. Rick Carlson of Optimal Health
If you are an insurance-based chiropractor or thought about going insurance-based, then this episode is for YOU.
This week I had the pleasure to conduct an interview with a client and dear friend of mine, Rick Carlson. Owner of Optimal Health Chiropractic and Physical Therapy here in New Jersey.
Now most of my peers and I push each other to run cash-based practices because we see it as the best business move for our circumstances. But based on his business and the clientele in his area, Rick actually chose to be in-network with insurance providers. And now he runs a seven-figure insurance-based practice.
So in this episode, we discuss:
- How Rick decided to accept insurance and grow his business off that model
- Why you can’t do it all on your own
- His process to becoming 15 Mile famous
- Strategizing growth
As the owner of a digital marketing agency, I know the value of online marketing. But absolutely NOTHING is more important than getting into your community and making connections with gym owners, trainers, and the potential prospects in your area.
This is something Rick and I think is essential for the growth of both our businesses, despite having different models.
And the thing is, Rick’s actually not the most extroverted or outgoing person at all. But he still became famous 15 Mile famous because he knew the value of public speaking and personal connection.
So there should be nothing stopping you from doing the same!
People often assume I only want Chiros to run cash-based practices. But I actually just want you to run a successful business in general, no matter what form it takes.
That’s why I felt compelled to share this interview with you guys, it’s a story that shows a different way to grow a successful practice.
I hope you enjoy and learn from it!
Oh yeah, because Rick is looking for potential employees, here is his email: rcarlson1412@gmail.com
